Privacy

What Dlala knows about you, why, and who else sees it.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Draft. This text describes how Dlala works today. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change after that review.

What we collect

Your account details (username, email, phone, password stored scrambled), your identity document if you verify your identity, the delivery details you give for an order, your bids, your messages in order chats, your payments (handled by the payment providers), and the lots you look at.

Why

To run auctions and orders, keep payments safe, prevent fraud and fake bidding, settle disputes, send you notifications you asked for, and suggest lots you may like.

Who sees what

The other party in a sale sees only your username. A seller sees the delivery details a courier needs, only when shipping, and each view is recorded. Dlala admins see everything for an order when they handle a problem. Payment providers (Chargily, Slick-Pay, Stripe) and couriers receive what they need to do their job. We do not sell your data.

How long

As long as your account is open, then only what the law requires us to keep, for example payment records.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, as set out in Algerian Law 18-07 on the protection of personal data. Write to us through the Help page.
